Ivette Rios

Kern CUE 2017 Technology Grant Winner

My name is Ivette Rios and I am a 5th year Kindergarten teacher at Taft City School District. I have a Masters in C&I in Technology which allowed me to create an Online Help Desk for the District website and I have attended several CUE conferences and a CUE Rockstar Camp . I am fortunate to have one-to-one Chromebooks which allow me to incorporate technology on a daily basis. For the 2017-2018 school year, I am planning to incorporate Coding using the Dash Robots I received from the Kern CUE grant.

Kelli Gleave is a 4th grade teacher, mother of 3 wonderful daughters, Ed Tech Mentor & overall Sci Fi geek. She is entering her 4th year teaching with Standard School District & her 13th year in education. She was awarded a grant for a 3D printer to use in her classroom from the Kern CUE Technology grant.
